These Terms of Service govern use of the private Hermes Automation QuickBooks connection service (the Service) operated by ATA Photobooths (ATA, we, or us).
1. Purpose and authorized users
The Service is an internal business tool used by ATA and people ATA authorizes. It connects ATA's Hermes automation system to ATA's QuickBooks Online company. It is not offered for public or consumer use.
2. QuickBooks access
By connecting a QuickBooks Online company, an authorized administrator permits the Service to access accounting information within the permissions shown by Intuit. The Service may read accounting records and create sales receipts on ATA's behalf. The administrator represents that they have authority to grant this access.
3. Acceptable use
Users may use the Service only for ATA's lawful internal business operations. Users must not attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the Service, introduce malicious code, or use the Service to violate law or another party's rights.
4. Account and credential security
Authorized users are responsible for protecting administrator credentials and devices used to access the Service. Suspected unauthorized access should be reported promptly through our contact page.
5. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what information the Service handles, why it is used, how it is protected, and how QuickBooks access can be revoked.
6. Availability and changes
We may maintain, modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Authorized users should review automated accounting entries for accuracy.
7. Third-party services
The Service depends on QuickBooks Online and services provided by Intuit Inc. Use of QuickBooks remains subject to Intuit's applicable terms and policies. ATA is independent from Intuit, and Intuit does not sponsor or endorse this Service.
8. Intellectual property
ATA retains its rights in the Service and its content. QuickBooks, Intuit, and related marks belong to their respective owners. These Terms do not grant any right to use another party's trademarks.
9. Disclaimer
To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that all output will be complete or error-free. The Service does not provide accounting, tax, or legal advice.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, ATA will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of profits or data, or losses caused by third-party services or unauthorized use. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Termination and disconnection
ATA may end access to the Service at any time. An authorized administrator may disconnect QuickBooks through the Service or revoke access from Intuit's account controls. On disconnection, the Service revokes and removes its locally stored QuickBooks tokens, subject to technical and legal retention needs described in the Privacy Policy.
12. Governing law and changes to these Terms
These Terms are governed by the laws of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. We may update these Terms as the Service changes. The effective date above identifies the latest version.
